At our November 2025 workshop, 92% of the high school students surveyed said they would recommend the workshop! Of the volunteers who responded, 100% say they’ll come back again. Why? Because they know the power their presence and expertise have on guiding students to college and careers in journalism.
We look forward to our high school students joining the ranks of our college reporters who earned a national award and universal praise for their first major investigative report, which was featured in news outlets throughout Michigan. Our results speak for themselves: Every EOM college reporter has landed a job in journalism after graduation.

Eye On Michigan is a student investigative reporting program based in Detroit and East Lansing.
